As I was sitting here watching the kids play today, I got a little teary eyed. Where does time go? Where are those 2 babies? They are not babies anymore. "We are big kids now" Before I know it they will be graduating high school.
Trace Adkins sings a song "You're gonna miss this" Talks about how when we are younger we want to grow up, then we just keep wanting more and more a house, a car, babies..... Then we have babies and we dont realize how fast they are growing until it is too late. The song has really made me stop and think.... laundry can wait, dusting can wait, I need to spend some time with my kids. They were God's gift to me and I love them more than anything in this world.
Now, I know that some of my close friends that are reading this are thinking... yeah right, Bel not cleaning.... that would NEVER happen. Well, believe it. This house is a mess and I truly give that song credit! HA! Hug your babies a little tighter because they wont be babies forever!

I listened to that song the other morning while I was getting ready for work. I am feeling it so much today, considering Nathan just went from training wheels to a "big boy bike" I am trying to cherish every moment.
I love that song, and I think about how I need to be content with where God has me and let Him use this moment to mold me and the kids.
